Nothing matters to us more than your trust so following the entry into force of the General Data Protection Regulation, also known as the ‘GDPR’, on 25 May 2018, this is to provide you with the key facts about that Regulation as well as information about the Controller of your personal information so that you are clear what information we collect from you, how we use that information and what your rights are to control that information.

Although the way we use your information has not changed, we have decided to amend our Privacy Notice to better explain the available options and the extent of control that you have.

This is an European Union Regulation that we are required to use as of 25 may 2018.This document aims to govern how personal information is to be handled across Europe.This includes the protection of information which relates to you. It is not intended to prevent all provision of personal information; indeed, we need such information to process your order or to send you updates on new products or discounts.The GDPR empowers you to have more control over what and how processes your personal information.

We have also appointed a Data Protection Officer to oversee the compliance of the processing of your personal information who can be contacted via email to precise@preciseparis.com. We are also available on mail at the address given above.

Personal information is all information that can identify you.In our case, we sometimes ask you to provide certain information when registering your Precise account, making purchases or contacting Precise Customer Service or when we ask you to send us some communication or with relation to your entry in Precise events or competitions or while using our website at www.preciseparis.com.These are your contact details, including your name and surname, email address, phone number, ship-to address and bill-to address, date of birth, purchase history, payment or credit card information, physical characteristics (such as a clothing size), personal preferences, including the wish list, and marketing and cookie preferences.

The primary basis for the processing is the fact that we need your information to process your sales agreement to deliver the ordered merchandise to you.The provision is voluntary but necessary in order to enter into an agreement.We also do that to keep you informed about the latest deals or promotions as we pursue what is known as the marketing purpose, based on the consent given to us.The provision of personal information for marketing purposes is voluntary.Once an agreement is made, several other obligations arise: accounting, logistics or tax obligations.Those are further purposes for which we process your information by engaging other entities, known as processors, to do that for us; these are: the warehouse preparing your order; the courier service delivering your shipment; the accounting issuing your invoice; the hosting provider who stores purchase details on its server and the like.Those service providers also guarantee processing in compliance with the standards introduced by the GDPR.
